Catch it While You Can

Thesis Workshop
2025
Catch it While You Can is a hands-on design workshop exploring the relationship between joy and temporality through water, time, and touch. Using Orbeez (water beads), participants will engage in a process of growth, transformation, and arrangement, reflecting on how this experience shapes our understanding of memory and play.

Through slow observation and composition, we’ll consider:
  • How does joy expand and fade?
  • What does it mean to hold something that won’t last?
  • How can materials tell stories about time?

Participants will create their own evolving arrangements in clear containers, experimenting with form, color, and impermanence.
